Ardens SystmOne was founded in 2013 by Dr Robert Greville-Heygate who is a practising GP in Wiltshire. Ardens EMIS Web (originally as QMasters) was also founded in 2013 by Dr Miles Carter and Dr Merlin Dunlop who are both practising GPs in Oxford. Ardens is still run by GP’s who continue to work within practice and know the issues that practices face on a daily basis. The whole team is passionate about using informatics to improve patient care & continues to evolve with its ever changing healthcare environment.
In April 2019 Ardens merged with QMasters, originally set up Miles Carter in 2013, to enable Ardens to support EMIS Web practices as well as SystmOne.
